HOW IT WORKS
Spend £400 or more on selected DEWALT power tools, to earn points and claim MyREWARDS experience from a choice of day-long activities and adventures.
Create a MyREWARDS account at https://www.dewaltmyrewards.co.uk/
Upload a valid receipt from a participating retailer. Purchase of your product must have been made 30 days prior to upload. It can take up to 48 hours for us to approve a receipt.
Claim your experience day once you have collected 400 points.

Once you have claimed an experience DeWalt will get in touch with you via email to explain how to book your activity.
Who can take part
Who is eligible to participate in the promotion? You must be aged 18 or over and be resident in the UK (incl. Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man) or Republic of Ireland. Anyone professionally connected with this promotion is unable to participate (any agencies, third parties or DEWALT employees.) If you own a business, you can have up to 3 of your employees registered for DEWALT MyREWARDS and the scheme is only open to UK and ROI registered businesses, limited companies or sole traders. It is not open to consumers. Please see our full terms and conditions for more information. Can I take part if I live outside of the UK or ROI? To participate in this promotion you must be a UK (NI, IOM, CI) or Republic of Ireland resident and if you live outside of these countries, you won’t be able to take part. Watch out for other DEWALT promotions in your local market. Is there an age restriction on participating in the promotion? When is the promotion open? The promotion is open from 17.10.2019. When does the promotion close? The promotion closes 17.03.2020. You can register receipts up until 17.04.2020 (30 days after promotion close date) and you can redeem points through the website up until 17.06.2020 (90 days after promotion close date). When do I need to purchase products to qualify for this promotion? Any purchases you make of qualifying DEWALT products from participating retailers between 17.10.2019 and 17.03.2020 can be registered to collect for points.

Collecting points How do I collect points?
Simply purchase a DEWALT power tool (see qualifying product list here) from any participating retailer (see participating retailer list here). Register your purchase, by creating an account at www.dewalt.co.uk/myrewards. Follow the on-screen prompts to take a photo of your receipt and upload it to your account.
We will then check your purchase qualifies and will convert the value of your purchase into points. Once you have redeemed enough points you will be able to redeem them for experiences (click here to find out more about the experiences available).
What is each point worth?
For every £1/€1.12 spent (ex VAT), you will collect 1 point. The minimum number of points you need to claim a reward is 400 points under the MyREWARDS scheme.
Can I keep collecting points if I’ve already claimed and/or redeemed an experience?
The MyREWARDS programme is open from 17.10.2019 to 17.03.2020 and you can register any qualifying purchases to claim points during this time – so there is no need to stop at one experience, you can claim as many experiences as you want provided you have made the eligible purchases to collect enough points.
How long do I have to collect points, claim my experience and take part in my experience?
You will have 12 months from a successful claim to book and take part in your experience.
I’ve uploaded my receipt, why can’t I see my points? Once you’ve uploaded the receipt, please make sure you have entered all the details as prompted. Your receipt and claim will be verified and points applied to your account within 2 working days, please be patient. If you haven’t had your points applied to your account (or you haven’t heard from us) after 2 working days has passed, then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens to unclaimed points at the end of the promotion?
If you haven’t claimed your points at the end of the promotion, these points will be forfeit which means you won’t be able to use them.
Can I convert my points back into cash and have that instead of the experience?
We’re sorry but the points have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
How long do I have to wait before I can upload my receipt and convert my spend into points? You can upload your receipts 30 days or more after you made the purchase of the qualifying DEWALT Power Tool. Once you have uploaded your receipt and completed the information, your claim will be verified and points applied to your account within 2 working days of your receipt upload. Your points will be available to use and redeem after this time.
Do I need to keep my proof of purchase?
Yes, you’ll need to keep your receipt, scan or take a picture to upload to prove what you have purchased – and keep the original safe!
Can I upload a receipt that’s less than £400/€448 or 400 points?
Yes you can upload receipts from any qualifying purchases to build your points up. Once you’ve reached 400 points, you can start claiming.
How do I upload my receipt?
Take a picture using your smart phone or scan your receipt and upload the image where indicated on your MyREWARDS account from your smart phone or computer. You’ll need to upload the image as a jpeg (up to 10MB in size).
I can’t upload my receipt, why?
You might have tried to upload a file type not recognised by our system. Make sure your file is a jpeg (up to 10MB in size).
My receipt validation was rejected, why?
Your receipt may have been rejected for the following reasons: – illegible or damaged receipt – a product not included in promotion – your receipt has not originated from a participating retailer – we suspect that your claim is fraudulent – the purchase was made outside of the promotional period
How do I claim my experience/s? Register your purchase and create an account to claim points. Once you have collected 400 points or more, click on the ‘claim reward’ link in the website menu and follow the on-screen prompts.

What restrictions are there for participating in the experiences on offer?
Please check each experience for any restrictions, particularly on age and current health status. This information will be available to you before you book.
Can I claim the experiences for more than one person?
Yes, you can claim experiences for more than one person. You must have enough points for each experience booked as each experience, unless stated, is per person.
What if I want to do an experience with my mates as a group?
Check out which experiences are suited to group activities and you can book the experience together, with the correct amount of points for each person booked.
I’ve received my email to claim my experience, how long do I have to book my experience?
You’ll have 7 days to activate your claim from the email received. Once you have successfully claimed your experience, you will have 12 months to book and redeem the experience.
How many claims can I make for an experience, during the promotional period?
You can claim as many experiences as you want provided you have made the qualifying purchases during the promotional period, and have enough points to claim each one.

What happens if my claim isn’t verified?
If your claim is not verified straight away, we will be in touch with you within 2 working days of your claim and we may ask for further information. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any claims made; please see our terms and conditions for more details.
I’ve claimed my experience, but changed my mind, what do I do?
Once you have booked your experience you cannot change the booking.
How old do I need to be to participate in an experience?
To participate in most activities you must be over the age of 18. Please see individual experiences for any age, height or health restrictions.
Do you provide insurance to take part in the experiences?
Our experience partner provides Personal Accident Cover for all experiences. More details will be provided when you book your experience. You may wish to take out your own insurance as well. We recommend that you check that by taking part in any of the activities, any existing cover is not invalidated.
Do you include any travel or accommodation in the experiences?
No, you’ll need to make sure that you are able to travel to and from the venue yourself as we don’t cover any additional expenses related to the experience.
Do I need a medical to take part in any of the experiences?
You won’t need a medical but some experiences will require you to be able to take part and assume a level of fitness and mobility. If you are unsure about the experience you are booking, please email us at email@example.com.
Are there age limits for any of the experiences or ages not covered by the Personal Accident Insurance?
There may be some restrictions for certain experiences and venues. Please check carefully at the time of booking. If you are aged 65 or over, you may not be covered by the Personal Accident Policy.
Do I need ID to claim?
We may ask you to verify your identity at the time of claim and experience providers may ask for ID and proof of age at the time of check in.
What happens if my experience is cancelled?
There may be circumstances beyond the experience organisers control that result in an experience being cancelled or postponed. In this situation, you will be asked to rebook your experience on a different date. You will not be able to change the experience booked.
Can the experience provider refuse to let me take part in an experience that has been booked?
An experience provider may stop you taking part on the grounds of age, general health or a health condition undeclared at the time of check in, being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, prescribed medication or is considered generally unfit to take part. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
Product warranty – Where can I register my product for the extended DEWALT warranty?
You can extend your warranty on your DEWALT power tool to 3 years by registering at MyDEWALT. Clicking on the ‘MyDEWALT’ tab at dewalt.co.uk or alternatively, click here to be redirected. N.B. MyDEWALT registration is currently a separate registration to MyREWARDS, so if you have signed up to participate in MyREWARDS you will still need to sign up separately to MyDEWALT to activate your extended warranty.
If I register at MYREWARDS does that mean I’ve registered for the extended warranty too? No – MyREWARDS and MyDEWALT are currently separate schemes so you will need to sign up to both separately to activate rewards or your extended warranty.
Use of data – How are you using my personal data and information?
We use your personal information to process your claims and we work with third parties to administer the rewards on your behalf and verify your claims for a maximum of 24 months from the date of registration.
