In the construction industry, we understand that preventing unnecessary downtime is of the utmost importance to any business. That’s why our workshop is on hand to help in the event of a powertool failure so you can get things back on track as quickly as possible.
We have a fully equipped tool repair workshop located at the back of our Redhill showroom for portable electric and petrol equipment. This service is run by our trained engineers who have over 40 years of combined experience in the powertool industry.
We can repair and service most brands of professional powertools quickly and reliably using only genuine replacement parts at competitive prices. All parts and workmanship carry a three-month warranty as standard. When it comes to repairs, in most cases we can supply you with an estimate within two working days and if the cost of the repair is worth more than the item, our sales office will offer a replacement at a competitive price.
With an extensive stock of spare parts for most of the popular makes of tools we can ensure a fast turnaround for repairs. Alternatively, if you wish to repair the powertool yourself we can order all spare parts using our comprehensive technical database.
The routine maintenance and service of tools will prolong the life expectancy of your equipment and ensure you are compliant with key regulations such as the Electricity at Work Act and other Health & Safety standards.
Fixings and Powertool Center is a warranty repair agent for most of the industrial powertool brands and can offer a free of charge collection, repair and delivery service for tools that have been purchased from us (proof of purchase is required). For your convenience and peace of mind we can deal with any warranty issue on tools purchased from the store regardless of whether we are an authorised repair agent for that brand. When undertaking a warranty repair on tools not purchased from our branch, a collection and delivery charge will be incurred. Please check with our workshop at the time to discuss any possible charges.

Please note: we do not cover repairs or warranty repairs on Black & Decker or Ryobi Lawn & Garden tools and equipment.
All employers, employees and the self-employed have a responsibility to ensure PAT testing. It is your responsibility to comply with The Health & Safety at Work Acts and The Electricity at Work Acts which ensure you have taken adequate steps to eliminate danger resulting from the use of such equipment. Where equipment is repaired or serviced, supplied to others, or used by employees, the acts place an obligation on the individual to check the safety of equipment and keep a clear traceable record of testing. We can PAT test tools in our workshop or on site (dependent on location).
