The ergonomically designed and intuitive STIHL HTA 30 battery pole pruner makes garden and tree maintenance work efficient and comfortable. Suitable for use around the home and property, it provides reliable support when pruning high branches, maintaining hedges and removing deadwood.

The rigid telescopic shaft can be adjusted without tools, allowing you to easily adapt the working length to suit the task. Automatic chain tensioning with an integrated spring mechanism helps maintain correct chain tension during operation. Chain tension can be quickly and easily adjusted by opening and closing the sprocket cover, minimising interruptions to your work. The tensioning lever integrated into the branch hook sets the correct chain tension and allows for quick, tool-free fitting of the cutting attachment after cleaning or replacing the chain. The tensioning lever and all controls are designed for convenient operation, even when wearing work gloves.

The electric motor is powered by 2 batteries from the STIHL AS system. It is low-vibration and runs quietly, so you can carry out your maintenance work without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas. The very compact and slim cutting head enables good visibility of the guide bar when making cuts, and high agility when manoeuvring in tight working situations in tree crowns. The HTA 30 is equipped with a STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain and a STIHL Light 01 guide bar with a bar length of 20 cm for a clean cut and quick progress. This means that branches up to 17 cm in diameter can be cut cleanly and comfortably.

Operation of the STIHL HTA 30 is simple and carried out via the control handle with softgrip elements and ergonomic unblocking. For comfortable working, the shaft is equipped with a rubberised handle hose so that it can be quickly and flexibly gripped all along the length of the shaft, to suit the working height. Thanks to unblocking on both sides, ergonomic handle design and a very light total weight of 3.6 kg, working with the HTA 30 is very flexible, efficient and effortless. Another feature of the STIHL HTA 30 is the robust base integrated into the housing, which protects your power tool from dirt and moisture. In addition, the HTA 30 has a hanging loop to which an optional single shoulder strap can be attached, as well as a carrying ring for practical wall storage.

The steplessly adjustable telescopic shaft of the STIHL HTA 30 can be extended up to a length of 280 cm; the total length of the tool ranges from 190 cm to 280 cm. With the telescopic shaft extended, the HTA 30 is suitable for working at heights up to 4.5 m, while the shortened form enables easy transportation. With up to 140 cuts and 28 min runtime per AS 2 battery charge (measured on 5 x 5 cm square-edged timber, dried spruce), the HTA 30 offers sufficient power for most maintenance tasks.
