Compact and lightweight, the HTA 30 pole pruner is the first of its kind in the AS System and is ideal for pruning back high branches, removing dead wood from trees and maintaining hedges. Powered by two interchangeable AS 2 lithium-ion batteries, which can be used in other tools in STIHL AS System, such as a leaf blower, grass trimmer, hedge trimmers, garden pruners, powered secateurs and more. 
 
The STIHL HTA 30 features a telescopic shaft that can be adjusted without tools, giving you a total length of up to 280 centimetres, making it perfect for tackling taller trees and shrubs. It’s incredibly lightweight, weighing 3.6 kg, and is easy to handle too thanks to the soft-grip handle. The rubberised grip allows you to hold the tool comfortably and securely. 
 
The HTA 30 is fitted with a STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain and a 20 cm STIHL Light 01 guide bar which is perfect for making clean and precise cuts on branches up to 17 centimetres in diameter. The compact cutting head provides excellent visibility of the guide bar and makes manoeuvring in tight spaces easy. Chain tensioning is quick and intuitive thanks to the spring-loaded mechanism under the sprocket cover – simply fold out the handle and rotate the cover to automatically adjust the chain tension.

For transport and storage, the telescopic shaft can be shortened from 280 centimetres to 190 centimetres, making the HTA 30 easy to carry and store away. The HTA 30 runs quietly and with low vibration, meaning you can work comfortably without hearing protection. A charge status indicator with LEDs lets you keep track of remaining battery power at a glance. 

Cannot be used with Kombi attachments, HLA 40 hedge cutting head, RTS harness or shaft extension.
